The capacity of the existing flotation tailings in Veliki Krivelj is becoming too small to receive new amounts of material. The Flotation processes over 13 million tonnes of ore a year. That is the reason a new technical and technological solution is being implemented, one that will ensure unobstructed function of the Veliki Krivelj Flotation and provide a long-term solution to the problem of tailings disposal.
The Expert Supervision of the execution of works on the project of increasing capacity of the Veliki Krivelj Flotation to 22 Mt/year was entrusted to CPM Consulting Ltd from Belgrade.
